Honda Integra DC2 Type R- Curborough Sprint Course

Well back early in the year I attended a charity meet organised by Shop ‘n’ Shine and donated a free photoshoot to the raffle and Jack was the lucky winner, after long discussions he decided he wanted the Integra to be done but then came the decision on the location as no where normal like urban areas would look right. So after searching and discussions with locations we decided upon using Curborough Sprint Course by Lichfield.

This UK Spec Honda Integra Type R is actually Jack’s 50yr old Dad’s Daily driver and family Track toy. It is Running 209bhp with a modified JDM ECU mapped by Romain at Eurospec with a nice spec list to go along with that making it a very quick little car. It is fully stripped out and constantly evolving with just having new brakes and mentions of a roll cage in the future.

Well we got to the track and the weather wasnt bad, foggy but drying up after rain the day before. I had invited a good friend and photographer of mine to come along aswell, Tom Cash, and he lent me his L series lens for some moving shots on the track. Once everyone arrived we went about sorting out putting the car on the track to start off the static shots and thanks to Tom for his input and a different outlook on it all.

Static over, then came play time, and the sound the Teg makes was just perfect. We could have all just sat there all day and listened to it go around the track. And after a fair few laps we were happy so got it back into position and got the interior shots while it cooled down.

Thanks to Jack and his Dad and to Tom for helping and finally to Curborough Sprint Course for allowing us to use it
